Windows 95 or Greater

Complete Program

Go to the Artistic Stampers Main Page

• Click on the Download link
• Fill out the form and click on the Download Program button at the bottom of form
• Now, click on "Click Here" to start the downloading process

This is really an Installation Program (named SetupAS) that contains the ASDB program. The downloading process will place the SetupAS Installer on your Desktop. Downloading the Installer will take about 20 minutes. However, if you have @Home or DSL, it will take about 2 minutes.

NOTE: If you are using MS Internet Explorer you will see a dialog box asking you "What would you like to do with this file?". Select "Save it to disk" (Disk really means Hard Drive) and click OK. Netscape users will not see this dialog box.

A Save as dialog box will appear. And....

• Below the word Save as, it should say, Save in: Desktop.
• If not, click on the down arrow to the right of the box
• Select Desktop

Now "Desktop" should be displayed in the Save in: box.

In the lower portion of the dialog box it will say File name: SetupAS

Below that, it will also say Save as type: All files (*.*)

If not, click on the down arrow to the right of the box and Select All Files

Now you're ready to start the download process.

• Click on the Save button located in the lower right portion of the dialog box.

When downloading has completed, look for the Installer Icon, named SetupAS on the Desktop. 2X click on the icon named SetupAS to start the program installation process. Continue with the installation until you're finished. This will just take a few minutes. The ASDB program will be installed in the Program Files folder on your C-Drive in a folder named Artistic Stampers DB Folder. Also, the Installer will have placed a Shortcut on your Desktop. You can Run the ASDB program by either 2X clicking on the Shortcut or going to Start, Programs, Artistic Stampers Data Base, and select Artistic Stampers DB Program.

That's it! Now go get yourself a well deserved drink (you choose the type of liquid that suits you...VBG) and enjoy the program.

Special Instructions for Installing on Windows XP

 

After you have downloaded the Installer Program (SetupAS) onto your hard drive, do the following:

1. Right Click on the SetupAS

2. Select "Properties"

3. Select "Compatibility Tab"

4. Click on box next to "run this program in Compatibility for"

5. Select "Windows 98/ME"

6. Click "Apply"

7. Click "OK"

8. 2X Click on the SetupAS to start the installation process.
