Book Journal Data Base will help you organize your book collection and keep track of the books you have read, disposed of, donated or lent to a friend. The program is very intuitive and Easy to Use - No Manual Required. After your information has been added, you simply point and click to view your reports on screen or print them out.

The first time you use the Book Journal DB, it opens to the demo database. The database is fully functional allowing you to make a limited number of entries, search, sort, view and print reports, and more. The purpose for this is to allow you to "Try It" before you "Buy It". We at Simp-List Software want you to make sure that the Book Journal DB meets your needs. If it does, and you wish to purchase it, you will not have to delete the program and re-install it. A serial number will be provided after purchase, which will unlock the program and allow unlimited entry.

Many of us have experienced loss of information that we have entered. Backing-up your work is very important. The Book Journal DB allows you to back up your data with the "click of a button". You will also be able to select the backup medium, such as external hard drive, floppy disk, zip disk, USB flash drive, etc. The only thing that you will have to backup manually is the folder that contains images of the book covers that you have scanned or took photos of and placed them in the special folder located in the program folder. The Book Journal DB only references these images and does not place them in the program.

The install program is less than 6.5 MB in size and takes about 2 minutes to download with broadband. If you're using dial-up, it will take about 20 minutes. The Book Journal Data Base program, after you install it on your computer, is less than 15 MB.
